Have you ever seen anything that looks so sweet!? INTENSE Factory Racing team rider Neko Mulally first showed up with this retro painted M29 downhill race bike at the final round of this year’s Downhill World Cup in Snowshoe, and now you have a chance to win it.
Beautiful… and yeah, if you win you get the whole thing!
The paintwork and the graphics look back to, and are inspired by, the classic INTENSE M1 from the ‘turn of the century’, but don’t be fooled… this bike is dripping with top quality components from 2021 and beyond!
This is where the inspiration came from. INTENSE M1, circa 2000.
In 2018 and 2019 Neko gave away his World Champs bikes to raise money for a non-profit organization that bought bikes for underprivileged kids. He raised over $25k each year, so this year he will be giving away this custom painted INTENSE M29, as well as some other prizes.
All the money will go towards a fleet of high-end mountain bikes for kids that sign up into a program where they can use the bikes for free. Come on, it’s for charity, and you may be the lucky one that wins this one-off bike. All you have to do is enter the raffle ($20) to be in with a chance of winning… it’s for a good cause. Neko will ship the bike (or any of the other prizes) to anywhere in the world.
One careful owner. And yes, this bike has been used.
“Every dollar raised will go towards a fleet of high-end mountain bikes that kids can use for free. We’ll keep them at Ride Kanuga and other participating bike parks, and treat them like rental bikes, but free of charge. Each kid will have to learn how to maintain the bikes and the trails they are using in the hopes of teaching them to be good stewards of mountain biking.” Neko
The man with the plan. Big up to Neko for supporting this project and making it happen.
The raffle closes on November 21st, so if you want to be in with a chance of winning don’t delay.
